Benchwork & Construction

Precision repair and bespoke voicing

Every instrument undergoes careful assessment for relief, structural stability, and tonal balance before a single file or chisel meets timber.

Bench Disciplines

Archival care and construction

Acoustic & Electric

Structural restoration

Reversible hot hide glue repairs, neck resets, bridge re-gluing, and broken headstock splines completed using seasoned tone woods matched precisely to the original period era.

Fretwork & Setup

Geometric fret dressing

Complete fingerboard trueing, cryogenic fret wire installations, and hand-cut unbleached bone nuts shaped to complement your physical playing style and preferred string tension.

Commissioned Instruments

Bespoke acoustic voicing

Single-luthier acoustic and electric builds carved from hand-selected quartersawn timbers, graduated tone bars, and thin hand-buffed nitrocellulose lacquer that preserves full natural resonance.

Hand-calibrated setup

We measure neck relief, truss rod travel, bridge geometry, and runout under tension to isolate mechanical issues and determine resonant health.

Instruments rest in our climate-regulated workshop for forty-eight hours to equilibrate moisture levels before structural gluing or fret crowning begins.

Final intonation, bridge saddle radius carving, and pickup height adjustments are dialed in specifically to your attack style and tuning parameters.
